A Supportive Full Figure Strapless Bra!
The 8th Wonder of the World!

What does a full figure strapless bra have in common with the Taj Mahal?

Everyone stares at them and wonders,"What's holding those beautiful domes up?"

All joking aside, I will firmly state that shopping for a plus size strapless bra is an experience I wouldn't wish on anybody. It can be horrifying, embarrassing, and hilarious all at the same time. Hopefully you'll find some ideas and suggestions here to make it an easier experience.

Cutting Right to the Chase....

Which full figure strapless bra should you buy if you have big breasts?

Let's face it, you're probably reading this page because you need to buy a strapless bra and you just want someone to tell you what's best. Here are a few I recommend looking at.

Here are 3 full figure strapless bras that I reviewed....

I'm working up one more review on the Prima Donna Strapless Bra. I hope to post both later this week. So check back again soon!

The Goddess Lace Longline Strapless Bra

The Goddess Lace Longline Strapless Bra  covers the whole breast.

You can see the support on the sides, bottom, and top, it's like a fortress.

The funny thing about this strapless bra is that ladies either love it or hate it. Some of the complaints were

  • hard to get on (has a TON of hooks)
  • made their boobs pointed
  • not smooth under clothes

Also, Goddess recommends measuring your band size at the fullest part above your belly button since it goes all the down. So you'll probably end up ordering a size or 2 larger numberwise, but then go down in the cup one or two sizes. Make sense? For example if you're regularly a 34F try ordering a 36E or maybe even a 36 DDD.

If you can find the right fit this bra is suppose to be stellar at support.

One reviewer said she did 47 jumping jacks in this bra, with no problem!

Um, Hello!! That's freakin' amazing!

Just one of the 530 Reviews for this amazing bra.

A lot of the women purchasing this bra are doing it for the wedding. If you're getting married in the near future, check out my page on wedding dresses that flatter a big bust!

Fantasie Smoothing Strapless Bra

This Bra is  a Hall of Fame Winner!

The Fantasie Strapless Bra looks a lot more comfortable than the one above. There are no seams or lace. It's also not as long in the body, so if you've been blessed with a short torso, then this bra might fit you better. It will be smoother under your clothes too.

This bra has won numerous Awards over the last 7 years for being the best strapless bra.

In fact, it's so awesome that it's been inducted into the 'Undie Hall of Fame' on Herroom.com

If I was looking for a strapless bra and had big boobies, I would strongly consider this one.

It comes in black and nude. The white has been discontinued for whatever reason.

Panache Evie Strapless Bra

This highly touted strapless bra from Panache comes in sizes from 30D all the way up to 38H!

This bra seems to be a love child from the Goddess and Fantasie (both pictured above)

The cups are structured like the Goddess and yet the bra is shaped more like the Fantasie.

It only comes in Nude and Black - Sorry, no white!!

One lady, size 38E, called this bra "Life-Changing!" That's a pretty heavy statement, but okay. ;) Give it a try.

Freya Deco Underwire Strapless Molded Bra

This bra looks a lot like the Fantasie Smoothing Bra that I talked about earlier, but this bra doesn't come up quite as high on the breasts.

So, if you have a lower cut dress or shirt and you don't want your bra peeking out, try this one.

It's also an 'Undie Award' winner. Voted best full figure strapless bra in 2015 by customers on Herroom.com

Last One....

Wacoal The Red Carpet Full-Busted Strapless Bra

Do you ever feel like one bra looks exactly like the other. Yeah, I'm starting to feel that way. This is another strapless bra that seems to looks just like all the others.

One difference that this strapless bra has though is that the band 'scoops' up at the top of the belly. This means more comfort if you're slightly bigger at the top of your stomach.

Double check your size. It's different for everyone, but a few customers mentioned that it ran small, so possibly order a size up.

Common Questions about Strapless Bras....

Question: Are all full figured strapless bras uncomfortable?

Answer: Yep. Pretty much.

Whenever stiff fabric, wires, and boning support come together (main ingredients in a good strapless bra)some discomfort could ensue - mostly in the form of itching with the occasional poke and pinch. Like an annoying brother.

Every woman is different and what is comfortable for one, might be misery for another. The strapless bra I reviewed for this page (see below) was actually pretty comfortable for most women. It just depends on your body type, and the individual bra.

Question: If there are no straps on my bra, what keeps it from falling off?

(side note: when you see a man staring at a woman wearing a strapless anything, he's wondering the same thing ;)

Short Answer: Magic

Real Answer: The support on a strapless bra comes from the band and underneath the cup area, so it's important that it fits right. Also, most strapless bras are lined in a rubber edging that helps the bra 'stick' to the skin.

Question: When should big busted women wear strapless bras?
Answer: Only when they absolutely have too.

A full figure strapless bra is considered a special occasion bra. Last time I checked, going to Wal-mart is not a special occasion. Save your strapless bra for a wedding dress, brides maid dress, any formal occassion. Trust me, you won't want to wear this thing anymore than you have too.
